Responsibilities – Service Technician:

• Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and/or manufacturer standards
• Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specifications
• Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast of rapidly changing technology
• Inspect and test new vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made in a timely and effective manner
• Other related duties as assigned
   

Qualifications/Requirements - Automotive Technician:

• Previous Auto Tech / Mechanic experience required
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) and/or Master certifications are highly desired!
• We welcome Technicians from other brands and industries such as: Firestone, Valvoline, Pep Boys, Jiffy Lube, Midas, Express Oil Changes, etc.
• Hold and maintain a valid driver’s license
• Team oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service

• Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screening.

About us:

Jeff D'Ambrosio Auto Group started as a small Dodge Dealership in Downingtown. That store has expanded to a large 36-acre lot with over 2000 vehicles in stock. We also have expanded to have 3 additional locations and 6 total new car brands.
