Job Summary and Qualifications

The RN in Mental Health Services will do the following: utilize the nursing process to assess the patient with a variety of psychiatric diagnosis and medical conditions, formulate nursing diagnosis based on assessment, initiate interventions and measures outcomes, and be responsible for maintaining a safe therapeutic environment, as well as direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering care on the unit.

In This Role You Will Have:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing 
• Current State of Florida Registered RN License, or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification via American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Advanced certifications (i.e. CEN, TNCC, etc.) preferred
• A minimum of one year acute care hospital RN experience.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• DCF Background Required
