About this job
Colquitt Regional Medical Centers is currently seeking a full-time, core faculty member to provide direct care to clinic patients, educate residents through precepting and formal teaching, perform advising and curricular duties, participate in program committees, and perform other duties to maintain the programs mission of providing the highest standard of medical care to a diverse population in a rural community and training dedicated physicians who promote and support the ideals of family medicine.
- Guaranteed salary is competitive; negotiable if significant GME experience or special training such as fellowship in Geriatrics or Sports Medicine, or other Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in special areas such as addiction medicine, palliative care, hyperbaric medicine, etc.
- Facility details: The new state-of-the-art, 14,000 sq. ft. , which includes the Georgia South Family Medicine Clinic, is located on the hospital campus; physicians lounge at hospital with meals provided; 24-hour all-access employee gym on hospital grounds

Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)
- Current certification by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFM)
- Valid Georgia State Medical License or participation in Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
- Current D.E.A. Certificate
- No restriction from participation with the Medicaid and/or Medicare programs.
- Ability to obtain credentials from appropriate health plans, and to be covered by CRMC malpractice liability carrier.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- FQHC/CHC experience
- Prior teaching experience
- Prior experience working with medically underserved populations.
- Prior experience working with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR); Specifically, Meditech
- Bilingual in Spanish/English
