Utility Operator - $1500 Sign-on BONUS!

Job Type: Full-Time - Hourly

Goldfield, IA

Monthly Swing Shift with rotating Day/Night Shift - 12-hour shifts

Starting Salary - $47,000 - $50,000 *gainsharing bonus potential*

Responsibilities:

Individual will be responsible for the continuous operation of an ethanol plant that includes:

• Sampling process streams and running tests to determine quality
• Performing testing utilizing lab equipment
• Monitoring machine operation in the field
• Monitoring processes via computer-based control system
• Loading liquid chemical product trucks
• Performing maintenance on equipment, cleaning the production area, and various other tasks
• Operating forklift and skid steer loader (previous experience not required)

Training/Experience:

• Must have a valid driver's license
• High School Diploma or equivalent required

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work holidays, 12 hours shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed
• Must be able to operate a computer
• Must be able to climb ladders and stairs to 100+ feet
• Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds
• Must be able to communicate clearly and in a timely manner
• Must be able to work in confined spaces
• Must be able to stand for extended periods
• Must utilize personal protective equipment including respirators, goggles, rain suits, etc.
• Must be able to tolerate ambient outdoor temperatures
• Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
