**Position Overview**

The **Food & Beverage Warehouse Supervisor** will assist the F&B Director in all aspects of procurement, event load-in and break-down, and inventory including but not limited to, auditing incoming shipments, maintaining order in warehouse areas, tracking inventory disbursements, month end inventory counts, and all before, during, and after event transfers of product.

**Principal Responsibilities (Essential Functions)**

* Ensures that all food and beverage items are available and in a ready to use form.

* Responsible for storing, transferring, and rotating food and beverage items.

* Produces and distributes all necessary documents to support the receiving, storing, transferring or returning of any food and beverage items.

* Audits incoming shipments and packing slips for quality and accuracy; Identifies and refers inaccurate or unacceptable shipments to management and informs the Food & Beverage team of any order discrepancies or issues.

* Identifies and communicates items with low inventory and other department needs to department Supervisor and/or Manager.

* Establishes and maintains order of F&B food and non-food items in the dry storage areas and the walk-in coolers.

* Monitors expiration dates and business volume.

* Assist in the physical count of all inventory items.

* Represent Walton Arts Center / Walmart AMP at both on and off-site events, as requested.

* Maintain professional working relationships with teammates, fellow staff members from other departments, vendors, patrons, and tenants of leased spaces.

* Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor

* Maintain security and safety requirements as defined by operations guidelines.

* Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

**Education, Training, Traits**

* High school diploma or GED required

* Ability to supervise 3-5 bar backs for event load and day of show product movement

* **Work Experience**

* Minimum of 1-year experience of inventory control, receiving shipments, material movement and distribution, and event set-up and breakdown in a large special event venue.

* **Physical**

* Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

* Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly (on telephone)

* Must be able to endure sitting or standing for extended periods of time

* Must be able to endure standing or walking for extended periods of time on various surfaces such as concrete, grass, and inclined surfaces.

* Must be able to endure outdoor elements including cold, heat, wind, and/or precipitation

* Must be able to work in large, crowded environments, with flashing lights, loud music and noises, pyrotechnics, and cannons as part of shows and events
