Job Summary:
The Sales Support Specialist at Pritchard Companies in Clear Lake, Iowa is a key member of our sales team, responsible for providing support and assistance to our sales representatives. This is a full-time, hourly administrative position in the auto industry, reporting to the Sales Manager. As an individual contributor, the Sales Support Specialist will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our sales department.

Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the sales team, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings and appointments, and handling travel arrangements.
- Assist with the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
- Create and maintain customer databases and contact lists.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential leads and new business opportunities.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Process sales orders and maintain accurate sales records.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and finance, to ensure timely and accurate information exchange.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to provide valuable insights to the sales team.
- Participate in sales meetings and provide input on sales strategies and tactics.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Sales Manager.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business or related field is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a sales support or administrative role.
- Knowledge and experience in the auto industry is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software is an asset.
