The Delta News in Greenville, MS is looking for a Full-time Meteorologist

The Meteorologist will prepare and deliver the daily weather forecasts on-air, on the station website, and on social media. The Meteorologist will have excellent person-to-person communication skills, and issue weather watches and warnings to inform citizens during severe weather. The Meteorologist will:

• Write, produce, and present clear and concise weather forecasts
• Produce weather maps and graphics by using the station’s weather computer system
• Issue warnings and report live during severe weather events
• Make public appearances on behalf of the station
• 
  

Requirements:

• Have good leadership and communication skills
• Work well with co-workers
• Have a flexible schedule and be willing to fill-in when called upon
