Barn Manager (pullets)

Job Summary | Resumen de trabajo:

Responsible for overseeing all facets of pullet barn operations.

Responsibilities | Responsabilidades:

• Establish and monitor schedules for lighting, feed, watering, and ventilation within pullet barn
• Schedule bird vaccinations and manure clearing
• Communicate with farm manager on a regular basis re: employee performance, bird health, barn updates, etc.
• Lead and manage a team of roughly 15 employees including husbandry specialists and maintenance technicians 
• Conduct performance reviews for employees

• Strong written and oral communication
• Ability to lead and influence a team
• Able to work autonomously and with little direct supervision
• Reliable and keen eye for detail
