Meter Reader

Yosemite Spring Park Utility Company (YSPUC) is seeking a dedicated Meter Reader to join our team. As a Meter Reader, you will play a crucial role in recording meter readings and ensuring the proper functioning of aerobic systems on a monthly basis. Key Responsibilities:

·         Record accurate monthly water meter readings.

·         Conduct inspections of septic aerobic systems.

·         Maintain open communication with the YSPUC Office to report misread meters and address any emerging issues.

·         Report any abnormalities in meter readings, usage patterns, or property occupancy status.

·         Provide occasional assistance and address inquiries from homeowners.

·         Fulfill any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

·         High school diploma or equivalent.

·         Basic proficiency in using small tools and shovels.

·         Clean driving record and a valid California Class C driver’s license.

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

·         Ability to stand, kneel, lift up to 50lbs, and work in various weather conditions.

·         Ability to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
