AR Specialist/Medical Biller- Onsite, In Office - Lake City, FL

Job Summary:
Responsible for scrubbing all claims pre-submission to the insurance carrier, verifying diagnosis, Will work directly with the team to assist in other areas. The position performs complex duties requiring judgment and discretion, following established procedures and guidelines.

Responsibilities:
• Charge Capture and scrubbing of claims for multiple departments.
• Validate all Clinical Service Lines for accuracy and guidelines
• Consistent volume of daily claims to be submitted for a large organization.
• Monitor multiple accounts and maintain compliance, with rules and regulations.
• Maintain quality relationships with patients, managers, supervisors, and other office staff.
* Complete their duties as assigned based on business operational needs
* Competencies on all sides of billing process

* Heavy Account Receivable experience with decent volume

Qualifications:
• Charge Entry experience
• Experience with Medicare ; clearinghouses; Insurance Portals (ex Navinet – BCBS; Availity- Aetna, etc)
• Need to have experience with GI would be great but not preferred
• ECW, e-clinical experience definitely a plus
• 40+ words per minute on the keyboard
• Knowledge of HMO’s
• A person that knows how to scrub claims
