Full-Time School RN - Boiceville, NY

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time position in Boiceville, NY during the 2023-2024 school year. As a contracted professional with ProCare Therapy, you will play a crucial role in promoting and maintaining the health and well-being of students within the school environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct health care services to students, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Conduct health assessments and screenings to identify and address the health needs of students.
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to develop and implement health plans for students with chronic conditions.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records for students.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state
  • Experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
