Full Time - Direct Support Professional - 12hr Night Shift - Garner

One Vision is seeking to hire Full - Time, Direct Support Professional (DSP) for our new 12-hour shift schedule model in our Garner homes. We are excited to bring a new work schedule which supports work life balance for our team members.

This schedule provides you with a 3-day work week and more scheduled days off, ability to plan for vacations because the schedule is consistent and working fewer days and still have full time benefits.

A typical schedule would be 3 blocked 12-hour shifts. We have options of a Front-End block consisting of Saturday Night to Sunday Morning, Sunday Night to Monday Morning, Monday Night to Tuesday Morning or a Back End Block of Wednesday Night to Thursday Morning, Thursday Night to Friday Morning, Friday Night to Saturday Morning. With hours beginning between 4 am -8 am and ending between 4 pm - 8 pm based on the needs of the home.

Starting hourly wage $17.00.

As a Direct Support Professional, you support individuals with daily living skills including housekeeping, laundry, cooking, personal hygiene, and self-administration of medications.

While supporting people with disabilities, you learn their individual differences in ability, personality, interests, learning, motivation, and likes and dislikes. You encourage community engagement by driving the individuals you support to appointments and leisure activities in addition to supporting them with finances and grocery shopping.

Requirements

• No experience necessary! We provide necessary on-the-job training to care for our individuals.
• Requires H.S. diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills needed to complete documentation.
• Provide a current driver's license and proof of insurance.
• Requires some physical activity bending, kneeling, stooping. Lifting or use of lifts for some individuals.
• Offer of employment is contingent upon background check, drug screen, physical assessment to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
