CPA/CVA - Special Projects

Job Location: Lafayette, LA. ( This would require relocation to Lafayette LA for in-person position)

Responsibilities:

• Work with the litigation team on projects related to civil or criminal matters for federal or state court, including but not limited to: Fraud, Theft, and Forensics
• Valuation reports for private use, gift or estate tax, or litigation
• Report writing for a variety of casework
• Community property partition work and income support
• Supervise the investigation and compilation of data for projects as needed
• Assist in training staff

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, valuation, or litigation.
• Maintain their current CPA License and certification in business valuation
• Litigation experience is a plus but not necessary.
• Possess general knowledge of tax and accounting
• Have great communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to work in a time-efficient manner.
