Warehouse Delivery Driver

This position is located in Humble, TX.

This job demands heavy lifting and working in a refrigerated warehouse. It also includes days spent driving 14-foot refrigerated trucks to our numerous accounts in Houston and the neighboring areas.

What You’ll Do:

• Work in a cold, temperature-controlled environment.
• Pick orders for shipment and assemble merchandise to be shipped.
• Use equipment efficiently and safely to load products on/off delivery trucks.
• Making deliveries in refrigerated box trucks (Non-CDL required).
• Verify the invoice count of delivered products with the customers.
• Merchandise goods in the appropriate place, stacking and storing them securely.

What Experience You Need:

• Forklift experience preferred
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Worked in cold environments preferred.
• Worked in a grocery store or food service establishment
• Refrigerated box truck experience preferred.

Employment Requirements:

• High School Diploma or similar.
• At least 21 years old with a clean driving record
• Valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance with liability coverage

Physical Requirements:

• Must tolerate working environments with inside controlled temperatures varying from 32 degrees Fahrenheit to minus 45 degrees Fahrenheit and outside ambient temperatures (including heat, cold, and precipitation).
• Requires tolerance of standing posture for up to 5 hours over an 8-hour shift
• Pass a drug screening.
• Must transfer boxes of varying weights from 10 lbs. up to 50 lbs. from ground level to 80 inches in height and up 50 lbs. to 50 inches in height, rebuilding pallets and lifting and carrying products a short distance of 6 ft. without mechanical assistance.
