Job Description

Seeking Foreman and Superintendent Plumbers with Commercial experience. You will use your knowledge of the trade along with management skills to coordinate with both internal team, and external clients to provide a high quality product within the constraints of time and budget. This position WILL include hands on work in the trade. 

**MUST HAVE A VALID JOURNEYMAN OR MASTER PLUMBING LICENSE**

Qualifications

  • Plumbing Journeyman or Master plumbing license required
  • Valid Driver's License with no restrictions and ability to operate company vehicle 
  • Leadership experience 
  • Basic computer skills
  • Medical gas certifications not required but a plus!

Essential Job Functions

  • Supervise trade-specific crew leaders, journeymen, and apprentices.
  • Coordinate with Project Manager on project needs as required. Communicate project status, changes, and needs to the Project Manager.
  • Lead and train crews in planning, layout, material management, reading and interpreting technical project information, and in their specific craft.
  • Take-off, order, and schedule delivery of materials.
  • Pre-plan job requirements with the project manager, general superintendent, purchasing, fabrication shop, and construction supervisor.
  • Read and understand blueprints, CAD drawings, isometrics, equipment specifications, job specifications, equipment submittals, schedules, and other construction and equipment-related information.
  • Continually collaborate with CAD department until final coordination drawings are complete.
  • Responsible, with all team members, for ensuring that the project is kept within budget and on time. Understand and know how to read variance reports to manage the project budget.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and organized work site.
  • Participate in hands-on completion of piping and sheet metal assignments whenever possible.
  • Maintain current understanding and knowledge of building codes and regulations governing inspections and construction practices. Coordinate inspections.
  • Develop a final turnover package for the client and their maintenance staff, including training where necessary. Keep and maintain updated as-builts.
