A leading producer of specialty mineral products in Canaan, CT is seeking Production Technicians.

Candidates will enter as Entry Level I Technician with a very competitive rate of pay and have the opportunity to advance to Level IV and beyond with excellent on-the-job training. Our client also offers a very attractive benefits package upon permanent hire after an evaluation period.

Key Responsibilities:
* General utility work including sweeping and operating a power shovel
* Fill bags with limestone product
* Palletize 50 lb bags
* Shrink wrap pallets
* Transport pallets to warehouse using forklift

Qualities We Seek:
• Ability to lift, stand and bend throughout shift
• General labor in a manufacturing or construction setting a plus
• Mechanically inclined
• Able to follow directions, work in a team or independently
• Eager to learn
• Not afraid to get dirty
• Shift flexibility (2nd, 3rd, Relief)
