Location: Minnesota

Start Date / End Date: August 28, 2023 - May 31, 2024

Hours per Week: Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)

Number of Schools/Ages: 45-50 Middle School Students

Caseload/Job Details: Speech only and speech-related services; direct and indirect

Types of Disabilities: Mild to Moderate

Requirements: MN SLP and DOE Cert

About the Program/District:

Are you a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) looking for an exciting opportunity to provide teletherapy services? Sunbelt is seeking a passionate SLP to join a school districts team for the upcoming school year.

Thedistrict, located in beautiful MN, is known for its commitment to excellence and innovation in education. They have invested heavily in developing virtual options for bothstudents and staff, making teletherapy a seamless and effective part of their educational approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to a caseload of 45-50 middle school students.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on IEPs.
  • Deliver direct and indirect services to address speech-related challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and report findings to the IEP team.
  • Embrace the virtual platform to engage and support students effectively.

Requirements:

  • Minnesota State License in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP).
  • Minnesota Department of Education (DOE) certification.
  • Experience working with students with mild to moderate disabilities. (Preferred)
  • Comfortable with teletherapy platforms and technology.
