Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.
Special Education Teacher - Mild/Moderate Credential
Location: Guatay, California Area
Employment Type: Full-time, Onsite
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction to students with mild to moderate disabilities.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
- Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and parents to create a positive learning environment.
- Address the social and emotional needs of students to enhance their overall well-being.
- Utilize effective teaching strategies and adapt curriculum to meet the diverse needs of students.
Qualifications:
- Valid mild/moderate special education credential.
- Previous experience working with students who have emotional disturbance or social and emotional behavior challenges.
- Knowledge of and ability to implement IEPs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
