Job Description

The Position

The Regional Manager at Techo-Bloc is an influential, driving force behind our operational success. The perfect candidate will bring fresh perspective to our Midwest facilities, while actively implementing process improvements and innovation. Here is what the 'to do' list of our next Regional Operations Manager will entail:

• Partner with key department leaders to inspire a culture of positivity and collaboration across our two Midwest facilities.
• Investigate our current production process to identify objectives for improving plant performance.
• Creates and controls budgets in conjunction with company goals; analyzes deficiencies and make suggestions for improvement.
• Creates and delivers progress presentations on initiatives for the Midwest.
• Champions safety initiatives, while ensuring requirements are effectively met.
• Invests in the development of our people through developing training programs, performance reviews and authentic leadership.
• Collaborates with leadership to grow the Techo-Bloc brand.
• Utilizes a keen business insight to strategically advance the organization.
• Oversee the production planning, staffing, and day-to-day manufacturing operations in a cost-effective manner, accurately track and record KPI's.
• Ensures review of plant operations to include daily, monthly and annual reports of operations and their associated costs.
• Oversee Production, Maintenance, and Distribution departments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays. Prepare and maintain appropriate production record systems utilizing AX etc.
• Ensure the efficient management of operations of a multiple shift production facility and ensure the proper functioning of equipment identifying and resolving potential problems.
• Spends 60% of time on the shop floor.
• Weekly travel between both Midwest plants; Waterloo, IN & Rock Island, IL

Qualifications

Your Experience

• 10+ years of facility or plant management experience.
• 5+ years of management and team development.
• Previous budget and planning experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain or Related field (preferred)
• Action-Oriented; you take on challenges with a sense of urgency and enthusiasm.
• You are adaptable in unpredictable situations and will shift focus to meet demands.
• Analytical; Plans, aligns and manages the execution of projects and ideas.
• Strong Communicator; instills trust in others through clear communication and integrity.
• Financial Acumen: can interpret and apply understanding of financial indicators to drive business decisions
• Experience in Building Materials or Concrete Industry
