SUMMARY

The Accounting Specialist will perform routine clerical, secretarial and administrative work in answering telephones, providing customer assistance, data processing, and accurate financial record keeping.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(Includes the following and other duties may be assigned.)

Responsible for:

• Daily tasks including:

• Preparing and posting bulk fuel and propane delivery tickets.

• Posting stock additions for fuel purchases.

• Invoicing direct fuel and propane.

• Apply sales tax and prepay contracts to transactions

• Assisting customers with fuel cards including making new and replacement cards.

• Assisting customers in person and on the phone including taking fuel orders and dispatching to fuel truck drivers by email/text.

• Invoicing bulk oil totes and fuel tank leases, maintaining appropriate spreadsheet and reconciling with the general ledger.

• Code and input freight invoice into billing software.

• Assist with preparing, entering, and tying-out all fuel and propane prepay contracts.

• Oversee and maintain level pay propane contracts.

• Preparing fuel tax reports for customers.

• Integration of transactions from fuel cloud billing.

• Assist with preparing month end inventory reports.
