Design engineer/Drafter

Applicant will be working in the Educational Furniture Market.  Applicant will work with systems to create, modify and release production drawings and data requirements under direct supervision.  Prepare data for CNC machinery, production personnel, and material requirements to various specifications using Microvellum specification group.  Provide accurate and detailed programs, submittals and provide support to the Production and Project Management team.

Project Management - responsible for overseeing projects, understanding and evaluating them. 

Data Entry Review new projects for any specific information required to place project into production.  add scheduling & Production information into tracking software.

Production Design & Drafting - Create new products as required.  Provide material takeoff when necessary.

Production - Create production drawings and tickets required.  Print and provide production drawings.

Customer Service - Review any product issues due to manufacturing, shipping, or installation to determine best course of action to resolve issue.

Must be proficient in use of AutoCad.  Experience with commercial cabinetry and understanding off fabrication/production is a plus.  Knowledge of Microvellum Toolbox or equivalent software experience preferred.  Knowledge of Machine Software such as B-Solid, Biesse Works and Cad Code preferred.  Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.  General Math, Parametric Programming, Project Management and Basic Computer Skills.  Good communication and organization skills.
