CDL A OTR Dry Van Team Drivers in TX, MO, OK - Full-time

Family owned and operated for over 40 years, Stevens Trucking is seeking CDL A OTR Dry Van Established Team Drivers in TX, MO, OK  to haul dry-van freight to our customers who reside mainly within the Upper Midwest (MI, OH, IN, IL) then back through Oklahoma and Texas; every once in a while, it may go through the south to Georgia or Alabama, but not often.

What started as a single truck has grown into something bigger than we ever thought would happen. And we are not looking to slow down. With 300+ trucks, 1500+ trailers and a fantastic support team, Stevens Trucking is one of the premier carriers in North America. Without drivers, there is no trucking company. We have always recognized that, probably because even our owner still maintains his CDL. Over the years, a lot of carriers have lost sight of what really matters - treating others the way they deserve to be treated. At Stevens Trucking, we mean it when we say, we treat drivers as family and not a number.

Compensation:

• The Team will earn a combined gross weekly average totaling: $3,000 - $4,600
  • Weekly gross earning per driver on average: $1,500 - $2,300
  • Annual gross earnings per driver on average: $75,000 - $110,000
  • The Team earns a competitive base pay starting at 70 CPM with an average of 4,500 - 6,500 miles a week, depending on how you like to run
    • All miles paid, loaded, and unloaded
    • You can expect to average closer to 6,000 miles a week if you like running harder
  • Additional pay:
    • Layover pay and stop pay
  • Bonuses include:
    • Quarterly Fuel Bonus – up to $.04 CPM
    • Quarterly Safety and Performance Bonus - $500
    • Clean Inspection Bonus - $50
    • Driver Referral Bonus - $3,000
    • Team Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 team bonus ($5,000 per driver)
• Paid via direct deposit weekly

Home Time, Route & Schedule:

• Home Time: 34-hour reset
  • Additional time off can typically be accommodated with notice
• Schedule: Out for 7-14 days at a time
• Route:  MI, OH, IN, IL, OH & TX with runs that may go into GA or AL every once in a while
• Level of Touch: All loads are no-touch, and 90% drop and hook

Equipment:

• Late Model Freightliner Cascadia’s with an option for Satellite TV
• Automatic Transmission
• Governed speed: 68 mph to start
  • Can increase as long as driver does not receive tickets

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 23 years of age  
• Must have CDL A license 
• We're looking for established teams to run nationwide freight for our dry-van division - teams must already be established!
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience 
• No DUI/DWIs or reckless driving charges in last 3 years 
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations 
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen and a new DOT physical
