The Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A will have primary responsibility for supporting both the pricing and reporting functions within the Financial Planning & Analysis team, from preparing various reports to developing analytical solutions to a diverse range of requests.

How You'll Help Our Team Succeed

  • Provide support for the firm's annual operational budgeting process
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including the improvement and validation of reporting
  • Support margin analysis at the firm, practice, and engagement level using a combination of actual data and projections
  • Assists with individual client pricing and analysis to align with the firm's financial strategies
  • Help monitor the firm's financial performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
  • Develop solutions to ad-hoc financial, analytical, and reporting requests using available tools and technologies, often working with the IT department
  • Provide support to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, CFO, Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis, Senior Manager of Pricing, and other operational leaders and committees through a variety of financial analyses
  • Enhance the firm's forecasting capabilities and create/support robust financial models to support strategic initiatives
What You'll Need to Be Successful
  • 5+ years of experience that demonstrates increasing capability and responsibility; professional services experience preferred.
  • The desire to take initiative and actively contribute to the team and the firm
  • The ability to communicate effectively and professionally
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to learn the firm's financial and operational functions
  • The mindset to provide superior service
  • Knowledge of MS Office and advanced experience in MS Excel, MS Access and SQL
  • Solid understanding of accounting and financial statements
  • Familiarity with designing, maintaining and/or documenting financial models and reports
  • Familiarity with financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis
  • Planful or other budgeting and financial reporting software experience
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent combination of skills and experience required
