Land Survey Technician

D.C. Gohn Associates is looking to hire an experienced Land Surveyor.

Minimum Requirements: 5 years of survey experience along with background in both field and office operations. Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Carlson Survey/Civil required.

Experience with deed and plan research, deed plots, title reports, field reconnaissance, field data collection & processing, boundary determination, construction stake-out, preparing plats, exhibits and legal descriptions.

Have the ability to work outdoors independently and as part of a team in the office.

Responsibilities: Use of a variety of modern surveying equipment to perform boundary and topographic surveys from small to large subdivisions, land developments, lot additions, ALTA/NSPS land title surveys and farm surveys.

Research public land records, previous surveys, and land title information to compare and verify current measurements and resolve questions about boundary lines.

Prepare two-dimensional plans and three-dimensional surface models of properties features such as boundary lines, existing structures, contours, utility lines, and water features.
