Retail Loan Officer

BASE RESPONSIBILITES: Reports to the Senior Loan Officer and is responsible for making a wide variety of consumer loans including secured and unsecured, residential mortgages, home equity loans, and cash reserve/overdraft protection.  Serves as backup for Senior Loan Officer with commercial loan activities. Administers the retail loan function in accordance with the policies of the bank. Participate in community affairs to increase the bank’s visibility and to enhance new business opportunities. Perform the duties of a Mortgage Loan Originator [MLO]

ENTRY LEVEL REQUIREMENTS:  5 – 10 years’ experience in commercial and/or retail lending. Excellent communication skills. Overall knowledge of bank products and services. Experience using Microsoft Products, Internet, and E-mail. Excellent attention to detail. Good organizational skills. Ability to work independently. Ability 

to keep information confidential. Valid NYS Driver’s License.  NYS NMLS Registration.
