Position Summary: The Manufacturing Operations Manager provides value to BAPI through planning, directing, and coordinating the production activities of the manufacturing facility. Ensure that products are manufactured efficiently, on time, within quality standards, and in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Manufacturing Operations Manager Principle Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of manufacturing facility, including active management of production flows, resource planning, process controls, manufacturing processes, etc. Provide exceptional leadership, communicate clear expectations and create an atmosphere of accountability
Coordinate development of annual operating budget for business units, including establishing and meeting financial goals and objectives by forecasting requirements, and variances
Promote employee health & safety standards as required by law & company policies in all production processes and activities
Ensure compliance with all safety, quality and regulatory requirements
Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand, optimize resources, and minimize downtime.
Monitor and control production costs to ensure efficient use of resources and meet budgetary targets.
Assure production schedules meet customer demand and maintain efficient workflow.
Develops, monitors and implements production forecasts
Lead strategic improvement initiatives and projects to support continuous improvement of BAPI's manufacturing processes Evaluate and review operations with business units to assess, develop and implements initiatives
Assure the achievement of quality standards is maintained
Ensures corrective actions net the required results
Identifies cost reduction initiatives and implement with approval
Utilizes problem solving techniques, process control and continuous process
improvement tools to meet or exceed the key performance indicators Assure there are active employee suggestion and involvement programs
Oversee the development and implementation of manufacturing processes to maintain proper product functionality as well as cost efficiency Sets and achieves manufacturing goals
Establishes metrics to track improvement over time
Maintains budget, oversees equipment purchases and implementation
Allocate resources including manpower, materials, and equipment to achieve production goals
In coordination with business units, ensures manufacturing performance and quality goals are met based on key performance indicators (i.e. quality, on-time delivery, attendance and efficiency)
Develops, monitors and implements production forecasts
Partner with Senior Leadership Team Collaborate in developing Company Goals and Culture; align with Company Mission, Vision and Values
Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements
Assures consistent application of policies, rules, and guidelines
Succession Planning
Works with diverse stakeholders and builds strong, collaborative relationships. Collaborates with leaders with competing agendas and priorities across different functional departments to achieve the common goal
Maintains industry knowledge by attending educational workshops or classes; reviewing related publications; establishing networks.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed, including special projects and tasks as delegated supervisor.
