Advanced Pharmaceutical Consultants, Inc is a pharmacy management company that specializes in behavioral health and drug treatment centers by providing pharmacists, technicians, automation as well as expertise. We are currently seeking a licensed, experienced, hospital trained Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Gateway Savannah 2121 E. DeRenne Ave. Savannah, GA 31046. This is for a part time position, 15 hours/week, Monday - Friday, day shift.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Experience with Automated Dispensing Machines Preferred.
* Hospital Experience preferred.
* Active registration with Texas Board of Pharmacy REQUIRED-Please include registration number on Resume.
* National certification preferred
SKILLS
* Unit dosing of oral medications
* Placing orders with vendors, verifying receipt
* Removing outdated drugs
* Proven experience as pharmacy technician
* Knowledge of medication and dosage measurement
* Knowledge of pharmacy law and medical terminology
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Successful completion of a pharmacy technician program preferred
