**Receiving Clerk**

****STARTING PAY:**$14 an hour**

****HOURS:**9am - 5pm Mon-Fri**

****LOCATION:**Brenham, TX**

**JOB TITLE:** Receiving Clerk

**GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:** Receive raw materials and returned goods into warehouse as well as keep assigned areas clean and organized. Assist in cycle counting duties.

**SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES:**

**I. Receiving Procedures**

- Receive and unload raw materials from vendors.

- Check P.O. paperwork to make sure item(s) are correct.

- Unload and check-in product to see if count is correct.

- Sign bill of lading with signature, date and note any problem, i.e., count, damage, etc.

- Label product with proper codes such as item number, and quantity (if chemical, the quantity should be NET weight), and put into proper place.

- Stamp paperwork with date stamp.

- Add freight cost to P.O.

- Receive P.O. in Chempax. If it is a location controlled material, receive it into the BRRECEIVING location. If it is a chemical, you MUST receive the NET weight.

- Perform a location transfer in Chempax from BRRECEIVING to the location where the material was taken to.

**II. Return Merchandise**

- Receive returned merchandise.

- Before receiving, make sure CPAR form is issued, usually done by customer service.

- Complete portion of CPAR pertaining to Receiving.

- Turn in paperwork to Accounting.

- Keep product in Quarantine Area until deposition is determined.

- After authorization; repackage product for reshipment or stock, distribute to employee shelves, or transfer to waste.

**III. Additional Duties**

- Keep assigned area organized and neat.

- Assist Production with staging products for lines when needed.

- Cycle Count and adjust inventory.

- Review end-of-day receiving paperwork and turn in to Accounting.

- Serve as a back-up for bulk tank unloading, and LPG truck.

- Assist shipping when needed.

- Any other duties or projects which may be assigned by the supervisor.

**Forklift Driver. Must receive training and be certified before operating a forklift.**
