Beacon Platform is looking for Strategy and Operations Business Partner, reporting to the Head of Revenue Operations and accountable to the Professional Services Organization. This is simultaneously a strategic and hands-on role, where a self-motivated, detail-oriented critical thinker will drive business initiatives, identify opportunities to make our teams more effective, and implement new processes as we grow to scale. You will work closely with the leadership to improve the Professional Services organization.

Strategy:

  • Envision, research and propose business initiatives in the Professional Services space
  • Define and establish appropriate metrics and KPIs for the PS organization, track, monitor, achieve and exceed PS Revenue and Profitability metrics
  • Facilitate ad-hoc requests and special projects and provide insights to influence outcomes and add value to the Professional Services business
  • Review, assess and propose metrics for managing the Customer Support function to drive capacity planning and customer satisfaction

Operations:

  • Work through data-driven staffing and resource allocation processes to ensure high quality and good outcomes for our clients and ability to meet pipeline demand
  • Manage the operations of working with third party consulting firms as resource augmentation for our Professional Services Organization
  • Validate and monitor methodology for prioritization of initiatives
  • Create and manage a customer satisfaction survey process
  • Serve as administrator for the project management software tool

Partnership:

  • Provide support for business management
  • Partner with Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Engineering on projects or other business related matters
  • Develop rapport with various team members and become a trusted advisor

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years in the software industry, preferably with PaaS or SaaS experience
  • 3+ years experience in Professional Services Operations
  • Familiarity/Expertise in Salesforce.com
  • Familiarity/Expertise in Project Management Software
  • Financial technology industry experience preferred
  • Proven success in running programs and processes that enable organizations to scale quickly and efficiently, leading to improvement in KPIs related to retention, expansion, and customer health
  • Deep understanding of service delivery and support of software technologies
  • Familiarity with Professional Services methodologies, metrics and KPIs
  • Strong quantitative skills and ability to analyze financial dataset
  • Sound judgment and ability to challenge decisions when necessary
  • A self-starter with the ability to independently research and arrive at and deliver conclusions
  • Curiosity and desire to research / analyze the competitive landscape of the Financial Platform industry, and its associated ecosystem
  • Experience in operations management or management consulting
  • Understanding of financial products a plus

Expected Range: $120,000 - $130,000
