Pallone Veterinary Hospital- Associate Veterinarian Position

Join our dedicated team at Pallone Veterinary Hospital, a thriving mixed animal practice located in Central Arkansas. We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated veterinarian to join our dynamic team.

Position: Associate Veterinarian
Location: Central Arkansas
Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000

Qualifications:

• Veterinary degree from an accredited institution
• Energetic and driven individual
• Commitment to long-term stay in the area
• Experience in both large and small animal medicine, reproduction, and surgery

Responsibilities:

• Conducting appointments at the clinic; Diagnose and treat various animal illnesses and injuries
• Providing farm calls for large animal cases
• Offering house calls for small animal cases
• 24/7 Emergency care- Part-time
• Perform surgeries and other medical procedures on animals
• Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on proper animal care and nutrition
• Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff members to ensure quality patient care
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in veterinary medicine and attend continuing education seminars

Skills:

·        Strong knowledge of animal physiology and anatomy

·        Proficient in animal care and husbandry techniques

·        Ability to manage a veterinary practice effectively

·        Familiarity with aseptic technique for surgical procedures

·        Experience in handling dogs and other animals safely and confidently

·        Skill in animal catheterization and other diagnostic procedures

·        Knowledge of dog training methods and behavior modification techniques

·        Proficient in veterinary laboratory procedures, including sample collection and analysis
