What you'll do
As the Inside Sales Specialist - Fleet for Royal Truck Body (A Shyft Group Brand) based at our manufacturing facility in Carson, CA, you will enjoy providing administrative support to the outside sales team and serving our customers by providing product and service information.
Your main focus will be to present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients via phone and email inquiries and occasional in-person visits. You will also play an instrumental role in resolving product and service problems and assisting with sales projects.
You will also:
• Follow up on leads to ensure smooth lead developments
• Assist branches with sales orders, pricing, quotes, and product availability
• Communicate lead times and statuses of pending orders to branches
• Cultivate and maintain positive and productive client relationships
• Partner with Production daily to verify product availability and meet customer needs
• Assist outside sales team with generating quote requests to end users and dealer partners
• Review and process sales orders for products and services, and credit card payments
• Keep up with ongoing order status by maintaining communication with Production and make suggestions regarding ETA's
• Attend in-house production meetings
• Provide a weekly status report to customers

What you need to be successful
• High School Diploma or GED
• Three or more (3+) years of inside sales experience
• Familiarity with the sales administration process
• AISM or CISP (Preferred)
