Summary of Position:

 

As a member of the Materials Management team, the Maintenance Roustabout position will focus on assisting the operation of WaterBridge inventory facilities through physical material management. This position will also include routine maintenance and specialized repairs for WaterBridge's fleet.

 

 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

 

The following represents most of the duties performed by the position but is not meant to be all-inclusive nor prevent other duties from being assigned when necessary. Employees are expected to comply with all regulatory, environmental, and safety rules and standards, as well as corporate policies. As a Maintenance Roustabout, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in daily/routine material handling (receiving, issuing, loading, organizing, etc.).
  • Pulling and staging material orders in accordance with provided requests from the field.
  • Validating incoming orders for accuracy from provided shipping documents.
  • Maintaining yard and warehouse cleanliness and organization at all times.
  • Providing oversight to contractors performing work in the yard and/or warehouse.
  • Assisting in management of the inventory facility (yard and warehouse) as it relates to groundskeeping, building maintenance, etc.
  • Determining and investigating any malfunction codes in the vehicles integrated diagnostic system using skilled expertise and diagnostic tools.
  • Conducting routine maintenance, as needed, such as fluid level checks, brake pad replacement, or oil changes.
  • Utilizing WaterBridge’s ACE CMMS system to accurately capture all maintenance related activities along with having work orders assigned for completion.
  • Following all manufacturer specifications for vehicle system repairs.
  • Maintaining and cleaning mechanics bay equipment and tools to ensure they are always kept in a safe and usable condition.
  • Reporting safety/environmental issues to management.
  • Understanding and adhering to all Safety and Environmental rules and regulations.
  • Ensuring compliance with HSE policies and saltwater disposal requirements.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment.

 

 

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Have a high school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Have a valid driver’s license.
  • Relevant work experience in an inventory, warehouse, and outdoor environment is preferred.
  • Have 1-2 years’ experience as a mechanic is preferred.
  • Have knowledge and ability to conduct routine services and vehicle maintenance.
  • Have experience diagnosing and inspecting vehicles for faults and repairs.
  • Have sound problem-solving skills.

 

 

Working Conditions/Environment:

  • Operates in a warehouse and field environment.
    • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, or sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds and must be able to carry a self-contained breathing apparatus if needed. Specific vision abilities required by the job includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

 

 

Position Type:

  • This is a full-time position.
  • Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm.
    • Working after hours and weekends are frequent and will be evenly distributed amongst the Materials Management team.
