Position Summary:Looking for a rewarding position where your experience is valued, and your potential is recognized?Then we want YOU to join our team!We are looking for Experienced LVT Flooring Installers to complete our 5812 Maintenance Team!As an LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile) Flooring Installer with our multi-family housing property management company in Columbus, Ohio, you will be an integral part of our maintenance team, responsible for installing and maintaining high-quality LVT flooring in our residential properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flooring installation, with a specific focus on LVT, and possess the skills and expertise to ensure our properties maintain their aesthetic appeal and durability.Responsibilities:1. LVT Installation: Measure, cut, and install luxury vinyl tiles in residential units according to specifications and blueprints provided, ensuring precise fit and alignment.2. Subfloor Preparation: Prepare subfloors by leveling, cleaning, and repairing any imperfections or damages before LVT installation.3. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all LVT installations meet the company's quality standards and industry best practices.4. Material Management: Accurately estimate and request the necessary LVT materials and tools required for each installation project.5. Flooring Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance, repairs, and replacements of LVT flooring in residential units as needed.6. Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to create a safe working environment for yourself and other team members.7. Communication: Coordinate with property managers and team members to schedule installations and provide updates on job progress.8. Customer Service: Interact professionally with residents during installations, maintaining a positive and respectful demeanor.
Requirements
Qualifications:1. Experience: Proven experience as an LVT flooring installer with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.2. Knowledge: In-depth understanding of LVT flooring materials, tools, installation techniques, and best practices.3. Physical Ability: Capable of lifting heavy objects, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods during installations.4. Attention to Detail: Meticulous with measurements and installation precision, ensuring high-quality finished products.5. Time Management: Able to manage multiple installations and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines efficiently.6. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during installations.7. Team Player: Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.8. Reliability: Punctual and dependable, consistently completing tasks to meet the company's standards.9. Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license to travel between properties as required.10. Communication: Ability to speak, read, and write English.
