Job Description
KCEMS is hiring Paramedics in Klickitat County that are dedicated and passionate about delivering high-quality, advanced patient care to our community.
RESPONSIBILITIES
● Administer proper care in a rural environment while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
● Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, ventilator, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
● Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
● Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
● Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
● Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow coworkers.
● Assist with daily duties and keeping the station clean and organized.
● Maintain clinical proficiency and competency per regulatory and accreditation compliance.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
● High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
● Must be 18 years of age or older
● Washington State Paramedic License or ability to obtain
● State Driver's License
● BLS, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS, CPR
● Clean driving record
● Pass Physical Agility Test
