Oil Field Flatbed Truck Driver

We are seeking a Flatbed Truck Driver to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of at least 33,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).

JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Pickup/Deliver Seamless, ERW, LSAW ATSM SPEC Pipe, Well Heads, Pumps, Generators, Drilling Rig and assoc. equipment.
• Pickup/Deliver in Primary lane zones: USZ6 (IL, KS, MO, NE); USZ7 (AR, LA, OK, TX); USZ8 (AZ, CO, ID, NV, NM, UT, WY)
• Operating trucks safely, productively and efficiently while following all traffic laws and adhering to all D.O.T safety guidelines.
• Understand directions to locations as well as loading/unloading instructions, making timely and accurate deliveries.
• Perform all work in a professional manner and maintain a positive attitude towards fellow drivers and customers.
• Submit job & expense documentation (i.e., BOL, waybills, PODs, receipts, reports) on time as required
• Navigate active construction sites, driving and backing into tight spaces periodically
• Deliver freight only to locations as instructed by designated dispatch team
• Remain flexible and responsive to changing work assignments
• Track, maintain and report any needed maintenance and repairs
• Evaluate road conditions and use good judgement at all times
• Keep accurate records of logs and job details as required
• Report any issues, incidents and accidents to dispatch
• Perform pre and post trip inspections
• Must keep truck clean inside and out

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Has an acceptable driving record as reflected by MVR with no major preventable accident in the most recent two years
• Has passed the required DOT physical, required drug test, and safe/verifiable work history
• No DUI or DWI convictions or positive drug screens or events in the past 3 years
• Must know how to work ELD systems (i.e., Samsara, Keep Trucking)
• Valid Class A CDL with 2-year experience truck & trailer operator
• Must be comfortable with 24/6 On-Call Rotation
• Must be comfortable with overnight jobs
• Must have own tools and PPE
• Must have strong work ethic
