Objectives of this Role
- To provide quality care for both elective and emergency surgeries as designated by the Anesthesiology Physician.
- To use all common methods to render the patient insensitive to pain during an operative procedure and to support life functions while anesthesia is being administered.
- To provide competent and appropriate preanesthetic and postanesthetic management of the patient.
- Provide consultation relative to various other forms of patient care, such as respiratory therapy and emergency cardiopulmonary resuscitation and special problems of pain relief.
Skills and Qualifications
- Current Anesthesia Assistant license in the State of Indiana
- CPR certification
