Production Supervisor

Responsibilities
As a Production Supervisor you will be the primary point of contact for production operators as you provide direct guidance within your area of responsibility on the third shift (12:00 midnight to 8:00 AM). You will oversee plant activities, delegate work assignments to ensure production standards and deadlines are safely and effectively met in the fulfillment of customer orders.

Requirements

This position is subject to the requirements of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR), as such, applicants must be a U.S. person defined as a citizen, national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee
Minimum of high school diploma or GED equivalent
Must have at least three years manufacturing experience in a supervisory role
Coordinate and direct the activities of the department to maximize productivity and minimize cost while maintaining quality and promoting safety, plant housekeeping, and employee morale
Good problem solving and decision-making abilities
Effective communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Great people skills
Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required
Abel to work independently and within a team
Generate results with general guidance from manager
Experience with manufacturing software systems
Continuous improvement training
Lean manufacturing knowledge
Exposure to systems controls such as ISO 140001
Drive daily production results and respond to changes in demand
Must be able to work third shift schedule 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM
Ability to work on a two-week rotation schedule (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and 4:00 PM to midnight)
Must wear and use protective and safety equipment as required
Be dependable and have strong work ethics
Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
Must be willing and able to pass a post-offer drug screen

Physical Requirements, with or without accommodation

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time (8 hours or more)
Ability to stoop, kneel, and bend several times during a shift
Ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to work in a factory setting (dusty, noisy, etc.)
