Position Title: Sr. Case Manager, Insurance Industry (Life/Annuities)
Reports to: Operations Manager
Department: Operations
Location: 2929 N. Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85012; in-office position
Classification: Full-time / Exempt

Essential Job Functions: As a senior case manager, you are responsible for proactively, professionally, and efficiently supporting the growth of the organization by providing best in class service to our agents, advisors, sales team, and industry partners. Anticipating and navigating the obstacles of new business processes for multiple carriers is a critical aspect of this job. This is an in-office, 5-days/week position. Must be able to sit for many hours and lift up to 15 pounds.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Coordinate all aspects of case management and processing for new business cases from inception to placement
· Act as the liaison between our carrier partners and customers
· Perform a comprehensive review of all new business and enter applications into Agency Management System (AMS)
· Reconcile all outstanding case requirements and requests for additional information with insurance carriers
· Assist with training and development of team members
· Prioritize workload and take initiative to expedite cases
· Handle escalated requests from Advisors and Agents, providing proactive updates on needed corrections, paperwork and outstanding items
· Provide professional correspondence via email and phone
· Work efficiently to meet all service level agreements including responding to inquiries in a timely and accurate manner
· Understand carrier workflows and maneuver carrier websites
· Participate in continuous training
· Understand and adhere to the Vision, Mission and Values of Simplicity
Qualifications:
· Minimum of a high school diploma / GED
· Strong computer skills, comfortable working in a paperless environment
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
· Experience with G Suite and Salesforce preferred, not required
· Experience with annuities and/or life insurance case management with advanced product knowledge
Core Competencies:
· Ability to provide exceptional customer service
· 3+ years of direct experience with Life and/or Annuity case management
· Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
· Capable of working both independently and in a team environment
· Excellent organizational and time management skills, attention to detail is a must
· Ability to react to change in a productive and positive manner
· Ability to aid in the development of other team members communication and presentation skills
Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation (based on experience)
- Base: $45,500 - $50,000
- This is an exempt position
- Annual performance bonus target: 10%
- One-time sign-on bonus: $5,000
