Seeking Apartment Maintenance/HVAC Tech!
If you are handy and have experience maintaining homes, apartments or hotel buildings and air conditioners; we would like to talk to you! RESPONSIBILITIES-
Perform full HVAC services to include but limited to:
Monitors and inspects heating and cooling systems
Troubleshoot units
Charge units
Recover Freon
Replace compressors, etc.)
Braze, solder, and weld
Install new units
All other duties related to unit turns and property maintenance- Apartment Maintenance duties to include but not limited to:
Plumbing repairs (experience a must)
Electric repairs 110 volt-220-volt systems
Appliance repairs
Building repairs
PVC, copper, ABS repairs and installation
Irrigation systems
Soldering, welding and oxygen acetylene torches
Pool Filtration systems
Dry wall, patch and installation
Air Conditioning, refrigeration, and heating (if certified)
Roof repairs
Slab leaks
Carpet and vinyl floor repairs
Repair and service all equipment
Lock and key service including maintenance and re-keying
Painting
Carpentry
Apartment Turnovers
General landscape maintenance including trimming, planting, and other services
May/Will be entrusted with Unattended premises, Keys, Merchandise, confidential information and will be expected to look after same and not divulge any confidential information
May/Will be entrusted to drive golf carts to transport self, materials, and guests
May/Will be required to drive personal vehicle to other properties or in emergency situations to collect supplies
And any other type of duties as assigned by a Supervisor
Responsible to meet shift production goals
Operate within standard operating and job safety procedures.
Drive to and from company properties, corporate office or assigned sites for required trainings and or repairs.
Adhere to the company practices, policies and procedures found in company handbook and other guides/documents
Performs any additional duties or tasks as assigned by the Community Manager and or Property Supervisor
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
EPA Certification
2 years’ of experience in Apartment, hotel, or construction/handyman or general maintenance/contractor experience
Lift up to 50 pounds
Observe all company procedures and safety rules
Work as part of our team to ensure customer satisfaction
Able to plan, organize and follow through on work
Friendly, personable, and professional demeanor at all times
Self-starter who demonstrates professionalism and can work independently
BACKGROUND
