Job Description
Nuclear Stress Tech and Procedure Specialist
Performs all Nuclear Procedure, which includes, Nuclear Stress, Nuclear HIDA Scan, Thyroid, Gastric Emptying Scan, Bone Scan and any other nuclear scan necessary; also, will perform IV fluid administration and spirometry when indicated, Holter monitoring,HBST, bone density, and additional test as agreed by tech and manager
Perform all Nuclear procedures to include Nuclear Cardiac imaging, Thyroid scans, bone scans, Gastric emptying study, HIDA scans under the supervision of a Nuclear medicine Director / physician
Preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals orally or by injection or inhalation.
Operating imaging equipment, such as SPECT scans.
Recording all information for QC, perform all the nuclear procedures, entering all Nuclear Med test data, updating Manuals, and tracking all the QC in accordance with ACR, DHEC regulations
Perform Treadmill test
Perform IV fluid and IV Therapeutic Infusions

Role as a Radiology Procedure Facilitator and Coordinator
Serves as Coordinator for the Radiology procedure department to include Nuclear / Ultrasound / X ray/CT / Sleep and any additional procedures.
Helps coordinate all required admin work and guide RAD/CT tech and US/ECHO techββββββββββββββ
