MAINTENANCE MECHANIC

Key Result Area:

¨ Perform maintenance services to ensure a smooth-running operation. Supports preventive maintenance program and proactively looks for ways to purchase best value for company needs.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

¨ Maintain preventive maintenance in accordance with a daily checklist and adjustments to the plant equipment and machinery.

¨ Perform mechanical repairs on batching equipment, unloading equipment, rolling stock and company vehicles.

¨ Perform routine maintenance within the site (changing light bulbs, ballast, etc.)

¨ Perform construction repairs, valve replacements, outlets changed.

¨ Perform plumbing repairs.

¨ Perform minimal electrical tasks.

¨ Fabrication and welding as needed for production and special projects.

¨ Change a/c filters (unless too time consuming, currently outsourced).

¨ Complete work orders and various other tracking devices.

¨ Responsible for housekeeping throughout plant’s areas.

¨ Adhered to safety and operational practices.

¨ Ability to work with Teams and alone.

¨ Complies with all Company policies and procedures.

¨ Able to work any shift

¨ Other duties and special projects as assigned.

¨ Able to perform and understands LOTO processes and ensure the optimal procedures are followed for meeting company’s objectives.

¨ Ensure the inspection of material handling equipment for defects and ensure repairs are completed.

¨ Review of Loader, Forklift and Grinder inspection sheets. Evaluating for errors and resolve operator communications and complaints.

¨ Maintain accuracy of component trailer status.
