Ophthalmic Technician/Assistant

The Retina Center is a busy medical practice providing comprehensive eye care, and we are currently seeking an Ophthalmology Assistant.

A successful technician will directly support patient care, to include work-up, diagnostic testing, assisting during minor procedures, and scribing for our physician, all while engaging with the entire staff.

The ideal candidate will have an interest or a background in the medical field/school, knowledge of systemic issues and anatomy, and/or prior scribing experience. However, prior experience is not mandatory, as on site training will be provided.

Character traits we are seeking include: a friendly, outgoing professional, that has the ability to multitask, with strong attention to detail, who must be self-motivated and team oriented. Special consideration will be given to mature individuals who have a caring personality and place a high value on quality patient care, while continually being able to follow through on assigned responsibilities in a timely manner.
