Job Description
Family owned business located in rural Lemars Iowa seeks a full time Cnc programmer and setup person for lathe and mill machines. Production consists of mostly brass parts. We are constantly setting up the CNC's and need an efficient set up person. We rarely run the same part twice in a year.
Very competitive compensation based on experience. Work hours are 8a-5p Monday-Friday.
An ideal candidate can analyze drawings/sample parts and create machining programs (using CAD/CAM software) that efficiently achieves the part requirements. The candidate will work directly and along side the shop manager to ensure correct set up and machining of the part.
Required Experience: - Strong mechanical aptitude. - Experience with CNC lathes and mills. - Ability to read blue prints and drawings. - 5 or more years of CNC programming experience. - Knowledge of CAD/CAM software (i.e. Solidworks, Mastercam, Bobcad, Bobcam ect. ) - Experience using 3D modeling software (Solidworks preferred)
