Responsibilities

• Provide haircuts and styling services for children of all ages, from tiny tots to cool kids!!
• Communicate effectively with parents and children to understand their desired hair look and make it happen
• Utilize techniques such as braiding, temporary coloring, and hair product to enhance children's hairstyles and boost their confidence
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, no matter how much glitter and hair clips are involved
• Promote salon services and products to clients, because every kid deserves to look amazing
• Continuously educate oneself on the latest hair styling trends and techniques, because we are always on top of the latest kid-approved fashions

Job Requirements

• Valid cosmetology license, because we take our job seriously
• Proven experience as a hair stylist, specifically with children and a desire to make them look and feel awesome
• Strong attention to detail and a creative approach to hairstyling, because kids deserve the best
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, because we are here to make sure everyone leaves with a smile
• Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment, because we all love what we do
• Willingness to learn and cross-train in other areas of the salon, to provide a memorable experience for our young clients
• A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining a drama-free workplace

• Guaranteed hourly pay for stylists starting at $15 an hour (depending on experience) plus tips!

Salon Hours

• Mon, Tues, Thurs -10am-6pm
• Wed & Fri -10am-7pm
• Sat - 9am-5pm
• Sun - Coming Soon (11am-5pm)

License/Certification:

• Cosmetology License (Required)

Work Location: One Location-(Arboretum)

Salary: $15.00 - $36.00 per hour
