We have immediate openings, M-F during school hours: 8:00am-3:00pm
Looking for Teacher Assistants to work within the Special Needs classrooms at school campuses within Sutter County.
Requirements for all teacher assistants who provide instructional support must have:
• A high school diploma or its equivalent
• Obtained an associates (or higher) degree OR
• Demonstrate through a formal State or local assessment, knowledge of and ability to assist in instructing reading, writing and mathematics.
• Willingness to learn and gain experience as a Para Educator
• Previous experience working with groups of children, and or working with disabled students or adults is highly desirable.
• Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel at a moment’s notice to school campuses anywhere within Sutter County
Prerequisites for Hiring Consideration
• Willing to conduct Live Scan Fingerprint Criminal Background Check
• Criminal Background Investigation must be clear.
• Current T.B. tested and clear.
• Complete online skill assessments with acceptable results.
