Experienced/Licensed CPA Tax Accountant

We are looking for a Staff Tax Accountant with 3-5+ years experience to join our team! As a tax accountant, you will provide tax services including tax return preparation, planning and consulting. We serve individuals, businesses, corporations, trusts, estates, partnerships and non-profits. We deal with federal taxes, state taxes, payroll taxes, excise taxes and sales tax. We service clients involved in manufacturing, oil and gas, agriculture and medical industries.

*Compensation - Negotiable Based on Experience

Duties Include:

• Preparation of individual and business tax returns of varying complexities
• Preparation of payroll tax returns
• Client accounting services and assistance
• Demonstrate competency in technical skills, work quality, and application of professional standards
• Know and understand the reason for the firm's policies and procedures
• Participate in training courses to further develop technical skills
• Provide excellent client service by quickly producing quality work and providing attentive service
• Become proficient at tax research, which includes obtaining a knowledge of the firm's reference sources

​Qualifications:

• Bacherlor's degree in accounting required. CPA exam eligible preferred
• Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
• Detail and deadline-oriented
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
