Responsibilities:

Delivers, monitors, coaches and guides technical and non-technical training for Distribution Center Supervisors and non Exempt associates.

Provides coaching, facilitates discussions and makes recommendations for non-Exempt and Distribution Center Supervisors developmental needs.

Consults with coach trainers, Distribution Center Supervisors and General Warehouse Associates on the floor to follow up on operational issues such as work methods, productivity and new hire follow up.

Assesses training and developmental needs. Partners with Home Office Learning and Development to modify, design and develop training programs and materials.

Conducts training sessions and orientations. Ensures all Distribution Center Supervisor and non Exempt training programs are conducted on a timely basis. Provides follow up to maintain quality and consistency to the training process.

Consults with Learning and Development Manager and Manager of Human Resources on a regular basis to assess effectiveness of current training programs used.

Administers safety training for the Distribution Center to maintain programs that meet OSHA and Company guidelines.

Analyzes associate performance data to assess the impact and effectiveness of programs; report results and manage ongoing process improvements related to results of evaluations.

Keeps abreast of current trends and best practices within the Learning and Development industry to continually bring fresh ideas and approaches.

Drive and support change management initiatives and processes.

Participates in special projects as assigned.
