HOURS PER WEEK: PART-TIME, 25 HOURS, 5 DAYS PER WEEK 5 HRS PER DAY IN OFFICE [9 AM - 2 PM] START DATE: DECEMBER 2017 GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: The Executive Director under the supervision of the Vice President is responsible for managing the operations of our small nonprofit organization, Families Helping Families. This person will be the point of contact for the organization's families, volunteers, community members and donors. This person will be expected to work directly with our families and to serve the foster care community with grace. This person will manage a two person office and be responsible for covering all customer service office duties including phones, greeting guests, cleaning, keeping the office neat & tidy or anything else that may need completed. This position is considered an entry level Executive Director Position and will require the physical ability to haul donations, unload and sort clothing, lift at least 35 pounds and to perform various tasks as assigned. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education/training/experience in nonprofit management if required. Experience: Knowledge of relevant software applications including MS Office, proficient in use of email and internet, accurate keyboard skills, knowledge of administrative procedures.
