Pharmacy Technician Program Director Grand Island Pharmacist OR Pharmacy Technician. Pharmacy Technicians must have a national certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareers Association (NHA) with a registration or license to work as a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacist in the state and 3 years' experience in pharmacy practice. Associate degree in related healthcare or business related field is required. A program director hired without an associate degree will be required to complete an AA/AS/AAS within two years of employment. Responsible for development and maintenance of pharmacy technician AAS degree and diploma program. Plans, organizes, administers, and evaluates pharmacy technician instructional program. This is a grant funded position. Instructional Design Consultant Grand Island Master's degree in teaching, curriculum and instruction, educational leadership, or related field is required. Provides consultation and support services in instructional design, strategies, assessment, technology, and in the implementation and delivery of courses and curriculum. Serves as a curriculum and program design consultant college-wide. Works with faculty at all instructional locations to plan, develop, and implement learning opportunities that help students achieve success. Supports faculty in the implementation of Quality Matters standards for courses and program materials. Identifies education technology needs and provides multi-modal learning opportunities for faculty. Adjunct Drafting & Design Technology Instructor Hastings Associate's degree and a minimum of 3 years of related occupational experience required. Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate strong knowledge and skill in Mechanical or Engineering Drafting, or related fields. Instructors will typically teach the following: SolidWorks, Inventor, and other software programs; Basic skills in the mechanical or engineering drafting technology arena including, but not limited to: blueprint reading, part design and layout, prototype development, precision measurement and other basic manufacturing industry principles. As a hired adjunct faculty member the instructor should have the ability to teach in a variety of delivery methods to a diverse student population.The Grand Island Independent.
