Job Description
Candidates will be working in the state of the art Gigafactory facility in Reno, NV. Candidates will be working to manufacture and assemble components for battery systems. Candidates must be willing to work over-time, including the weekend as needed. We are looking for candidates who want to work safely, maintains clean and organized work spaces with a general understanding of manufacturing procedures. Candidates should be able to follow work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure the product is built to all required specifications and also comply company quality standards.
Job Duties:
Perform electro-mechanical assembly
Read/use microscopes, digital calipers & ruler
Troubleshoot under supervision complex problems
Monitor PC screen of automated systems
Use hand tools, calipers, micrometers as necessary
Complies with ALL safety working standards and practices along with all environmental safe practices and regulations
Conducts performance testing as required
Perform precise weight measurements and manage time
Prepare equipment for transfer to the customer such as packaging
All shifts available:
1st shift 7:00a - 3:30pm
2nd shift 3:00pm - 11:30pm
3rd shift 11:00pm - 7:30am
Required : One year or more of manufacturing experience and a HS Diploma or GED is required
